In the book Project-Driven Creation they say "when project results are good enough" They also state in their book that "countless projects are considered failures when the results are delivered at the end of the project. It turns out that the results were completely different from what the sponsor expected" Setting clear objectives and involving the sponsor at every step can prevent project failure. But it's really important to understand what quality means to your stakeholders and how they want to deliver quality services to your project. In this book, the author talks about three types of quality. 1. Acceptable quality 2. Appropriate quality 3. Aspirational quality Let's discuss step by step. *Acceptable quality: It is the lowest level of quality. You can even call it minimum value. Because your sponsor can give the highest response to the quality of this label. If you continue to deliver this label quality, your sponsor will not be satisfied. Start thinking of your options. Your project will be at risk. *Appropriate quality: That's the level of quality that your sponsors wanted. That's the level of quality that you signed up with that company for. A decent score is a level you should be aiming for. You definitely want your team to do well. Let them constantly do something new that will take your organization to unique heights. *Aspirational quality: It's a quality level that exceeds your sponsor's expectations. Here every member of the project works to the best of his ability. Creating a positive image with their maximum effort in the success of the project. And helps in getting bigger sponsors in future.
